Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Indiana is seeking a Recycle Technician to support the recycle, reuse, and reclamation program. You will comply with safety rules and work with a team to sort materials.

The role emphasizes cleaning, documentation, and interaction with supervisors and customers, with a hourly wage and a Sunday–Wednesday shift. Team collaboration and safety are core to the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of recycling experience in a company environment or preferred combination of training and experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus. May require a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May require forklift certification. May require Hazardous Waste Handling Training per RCRA.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and willingness to share with team.
• Knowledge of upkeep and care of cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe, efficient use.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dock and collection areas.

Compensation and Shift

Sunday – Wednesday: 6:00am – 5:30pm.

$15.00‑$16.00 per hour.

Additional Requirements

Must be willing to train on center rider.
