Job summary

Waste Pro USA in Clearwater, FL, is seeking a Recycle Center Yard Helper to process and prepare materials for recycling, inspect loads, and remove debris to ensure clean, sorted feedstock.

You will work with a team to maintain equipment, load and store commodities efficiently, and assist the public with courteous service in an outdoor industrial setting.

Qualifications

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Recycle Center Yard Helper is responsible for processing metal to prepare for shipment, inspecting loads, sorting materials and operating equipment with in a Waste Pro recycling facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Process and prepare materials for recycling, inspecting loads, removing debris from material to be recycled


• Maintain a clean and organized work environment both inside and outside the facility


• Ensure that commodities are loaded, transported and stored in an efficient and timely manner


• Work with the team onsite to complete daily maintenance of concrete crushing equipment including cleaning, greasing and fueling


• Observe and report any potential malfunctions


• Operate the weight station scale-Delete Line


• Greets and assists the public in a friendly manner providing quality customer service

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.


• Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by Waste Pro USA.


• Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
