About the Company

RNGD is a rapidly scaling organization emerging as a nationally recognized leader in construction through our unique Renegade mindset focused on innovation, creativity, and culture. The team is made up of a highly engaged group of seasoned professionals and emerging leaders. We are creators who believe that what we build drives the growth of our cities and that to fulfill our mission, we must constantly challenge the old way of doing things. Headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana, we thrive on building communities, building teams, building leaders, and growing the business throughout the Southeast region with additional offices in Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Recruitment Specialist that will serve as the operational engine of RNGD’s Talent Attraction function. Working closely with the Talent Attraction Manager, this role is responsible for executing full-cycle recruiting activities, maintaining strong candidate pipelines, and delivering an organized, responsive, and professional hiring experience across multiple business functions.

The Recruitment Specialist partners with hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle to understand talent needs, source and assess qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, facilitate hiring decisions, and maintain accurate recruiting systems and documentation. This role plays a critical part in keeping recruiting activity moving efficiently while allowing the Talent Attraction Manager to maintain focus on workforce strategy, employer branding, pipeline development, and broader organizational growth initiatives.

Success in this role requires initiative, urgency, organization, attention to detail, relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple searches and competing priorities within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Core Responsibilities
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment Execution
    • Execute full-cycle recruiting activities for assigned positions from approved requisition through accepted offer.
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, qualifications, team needs, and candidate profiles.
    • Review applications and resumes, conduct phone screens, and complete initial candidate assessments.
    • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear and thoughtful candidate summaries.
    • Coordinate interviews and maintain communication between candidates, hiring managers, and interview teams.
    • Facilitate timely interview feedback, candidate disposition, selection decisions, and next steps.
    • Maintain momentum throughout the hiring process and proactively address delays or stalled activity.
  • Talent Sourcing and Pipeline Development
    • Source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, social media, databases, and other sourcing channels.
    • Develop proactive sourcing strategies for recurring, specialized, and difficult-to-fill positions.
    • Build and maintain candidate pipelines and talent communities to support current and future workforce needs.
    • Conduct targeted sourcing campaigns in partnership with the Talent Attraction Manager.
    • Support employee referral programs and other candidate generation initiatives.
    • Participate in career fairs, networking events, industry associations, community outreach, and recruiting initiatives as assigned.
  • Candidate Experience and Relationship Management
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process up until offer stage where the handoff to People Operations happens.
    • Provide timely and accurate communication regarding interviews, hiring decisions, expectations, and next steps.
    • Build meaningful candidate relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, transparency, and consistent follow-through.
    • Communicate RNGD’s mission, values, culture, career opportunities, and growth story authentically.
    • Ensure candidates experience a consistent and engaging recruitment process regardless of hiring outcome.
    • Protect RNGD’s employer reputation through thoughtful communication and professional candidate interactions.
  • Recruiting Operations, Systems, and Data
    • Maintain accurate requisition, candidate, interview, disposition, and hiring activity within the Applicant Tracking System.
    • Ensure recruiting documentation and candidate records are complete, accurate, timely, and aligned with company standards.
    • Monitor active requisitions and candidate pipelines to identify workflow bottlenecks, delayed feedback, or aging searches.
    • Maintain recruiting trackers, templates, communication resources, and process documentation.
    • Support recruiting reports, metrics, and data updates as directed by the Talent Attraction Manager.
    • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows, candidate communication, system utilization, and process efficiency.
  • Hiring Manager and Team Collaboration
    • Build effective working relationships with hiring managers and maintain consistent communication throughout assigned searches.
    • Provide hiring managers with timely updates regarding candidate activity, pipeline health, interview status, and recruiting challenges.
    • Partner with the Talent Attraction Manager to execute recruiting priorities, sourcing strategies, and Talent Attraction initiatives.

  • Two to four years of progressive recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or related experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience executing full-cycle recruitment activities across multiple active requisitions.
