Chewy is seeking a Recruiting Manager to join our team. This role partners with executives to identify top veterinary talent for our expanding Chewy Vet Care network, acting as a full-cycle recruiter who sources creatively while preserving candidate experience.

The Senior Recruiting Manager owns stakeholder relationships and guides hiring strategy, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices to build pipelines and meet growth goals across the business.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Recruiter.
  • Knowledge of local DVM talent pool and networking ability.
  • Proven track record of data-driven recruiting and building pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and partner with executive level stakeholders as the recruiting SME on veterinary hiring, market trends, metrics, processes and tools.
  • Recruiting and hiring Veterinarians based on leadership needs.
  • Build repeatable, programmatic solutions to operational processes.
  • Interview DVM candidates and coordinate with department heads.
  • Create and facilitate regular meeting times for candidate interviews with Hospital Administrator.
  • Utilize analytical thinking to diagnose business challenges and identify hiring trends.
  • Execute full cycle recruiting and pipelining plans.
  • Build recruiting strategies and drive execution to meet goals.
  • Work with hiring managers to understand needs and identify the right talent.
  • Develop pipelines in niche areas per market needs and strategies.
  • Track goals, metrics and status of hiring processes.

What You'll Do

  • Utilize analytical thinking to diagnose business challenges and identify hiring trends
  • Execute full cycle recruiting and pipelining plans
  • Build recruiting strategies and drive execution to ensure goals are met
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs in order to identify the right talent
  • Develop pipeline of candidates in niche areas as determined by market needs and business strategies
  • Track goals, metrics and performance of the hiring cycle; regularly communicate status and results
What You'll Need
  • 7+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Recruiter.
  • Knowledge of local DVM talent pool and ability to connect by leveraging contact through networking and cold calls
  • Proven track record of utilizing a data-driven approach to building and innovating
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Some travel may be required, based on business needs
