Job summary

Cartesia, an AI company building real-time voice AI, is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to own scheduling end-to-end and support recruiting operations. You will host candidates onsite, coordinate interviews, and partner with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure a smooth candidate experience.

This contract-to-hire role starts with a contract but offers a strong path to full-time conversion based on performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in recruiting ops, or a similar role in a fast paced, technical environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own scheduling end to end. Coordinate interviews, debriefs, and interview kickoffs so every candidate and interviewer shows up informed, prepared, and on time.
• Host candidates onsite. Create an experience that's warm, human, and memorable adapting to different personalities along the way.
• Partner cross functionally. Work closely with recruiters, interviewers, and hiring managers to anticipate needs, solve problems in real time, and keep things moving.
• Maintain accurate data. Keep our ATS and scheduling tools accurate and up to date so nothing falls through the cracks.
• Support ad hoc projects. Assist with initiatives related to recruiting operations and candidate experience.
• Drive continuous improvement. Constantly find and execute on opportunities to improve how we operate.

About the Role

As a Recruiting Coordinator at Cartesia, scheduling is your core craft and you'll be the friendly face candidates meet along the way. As we scale, you’ll also gain hands on exposure to recruiting operations, process building, and improving the systems that keep our hiring team moving smoothly.

Cartesia is building the models and infrastructure powering real-time voice AI, and you'll help shape the team that gets us there. This role is for you if you love the satisfaction of getting things done quickly, thrive in environments that are fluid and constantly evolving, obsess over learning new things, and enjoy meeting and interacting with new people.

This is a contract-to-hire role: the position starts as a contract with a strong opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance. Please note that full-time benefits do not apply while in the contract phase.

Your Impact

What You Bring

• 2+ years experience. As a Recruiting Coordinator, in recruiting ops, or a similar role in a fast paced, technical environment.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Nothing slips past you. Wrong time zone, missing dial in, double booked room. You catch it before it becomes a problem.

• Initiative taker. You don't wait to be told. When you spot something inefficient, you take it as a personal challenge and you've got the judgment to fix it the right way.

• Proactive communicator. You flag delays before anyone has to ask and keep everyone in the loop without being prompted.

• Empathetic. Every person in the process matters to you. You are thoughtful to make the experience seamless for everyone including the candidate and the hiring team.

• Comfortable with chaos. You are comfortable keeping everyone organized and up to speed.

• Discreet. Comfortable handling confidential information with care.

• Nice to have: Experience with Ashby & ModernLoop

In-office policy: We’re an in-person team based out of offices in San Francisco, London and Bangalore. We love being in the office, hanging out together, and learning from each other every day.
