Valar Atomics Inc. is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support the Talent team and own logistics, coordination, and candidate experience across the hiring process.

This on-site, Torrance, CA role is ideal for an early-career professional aiming to grow into recruiting, talent operations, or HR. You will work closely with recruiters and stakeholders, ensuring rapid interview flow, accurate records, and a positive candidate journey, with equity and on-site meals supporting a fast-moving startup

• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience with clear communication and onsite hosting.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and workflows in Greenhouse ATS.
• Coordinate candidate travel and support expense reconciliation.
• Improve recruiting operations through process enhancements and projects.
• Build professional relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring teams to keep the process moving.

The Role

We're seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support our Talent team and own the logistics, coordination, and candidate experience across the hiring process. This role is critical to our ability to scale-ensuring candidates move quickly, interviews run seamlessly, and every interaction reflects the high bar we set for our team. This is an early-career role ideal for candidates looking to grow into recruiting, talent operations, or HR. This is a fully on-site role based at our Torrance, CA headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule phone, video, and onsite interviews across multiple teams and time zones with speed and accuracy.
• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through clear communication, attention to detail, and confident onsite hosting.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and workflows in our Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse).
• Coordinate candidate travel (flights, hotels, transportation) and support expense reconciliation.
• Improve recruiting operations through process enhancements and special projects.
• Build strong, professional relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring teams across the business to keep the hiring process moving.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience managing complex calendars and using tools such as Outlook and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
• High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Torrance, CA.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 1+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent operations, or HR coordination.
• Experience using Greenhouse or a similar Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Experience improving or streamlining recruiting or operational processes.
