Job summary

Professional Transportation, Inc. is hiring a Recruiting Coordinator to support the recruiting process for our field transportation team. You will interview candidates, assist hiring managers, and help keep the hiring process moving smoothly across multiple U.S.

locations. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1+ years of HR/recruiting experience, with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, HR, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in HR and/or Recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruiting process for hourly driver positions, including interviewing candidates primarily by phone.
  • Coordinate with managers across multiple U.S. locations to understand hiring needs and ensure an efficient, consistent process.
  • Screen and interview candidates via phone and virtual meetings to assess qualifications and fit.
  • Assist with pre-employment steps, including scheduling drug screens, DOT physicals, and training, as well as completing pre-hire paperwork.
  • Partner with HR members to complete pre-hire and onboarding tasks and maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws throughout the recruiting process.
  • Assist with pre-employment steps, including scheduling drug screens, DOT physicals, and training, as well as completing pre-hire paperwork.

Job Summary

Leads recruiting process for hiring needs across our field transportation business. Works directly with hiring managers, applicants, and human resources. This role will achieve recruiting objectives by sourcing and evaluating passive and active job seekers, assist the interview process, and support the onboarding process as needed. Will also be responsible for advising hiring managers of recruiting compliance and best practices.

Requirements
