Responsibilities

• Recruit caregivers through outbound/inbound calls and sourcing databases; timely follow up with prospective attendants.
• Ensure applicants complete pre-hire paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Transition newly hired attendants through onboarding to the hiring process for client work.
• Communicate clearly with applicants, new hires, clients, and team members.
• Locate and participate in job fairs and talent acquisition events.
• Run and process background checks and LEIE checks during pre-hire to determine eligibility.
• Complete documentation in necessary agency EMR and needed databases.

Job Summary

The primary function of the Community Care Recruiter (CCR) is to acquire and process attendants and special attendants to work with clients in need of attendant care. May assist in staffing current attendants as needed

Job Qualifications

Education : High School Graduate (College Preferred).

Experience : One-year customer service and/or sales experience preferred.

Skills : Computer skills preferred, excellent interpersonal and organizational skill. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Transportation : Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.

Environmental & Working Conditions : Performs duties either remotely or in an office environment during agency operating hours. Works in a routine office environment noise level may be moderately high; must have the ability to work a flexible schedule and extended hours. Possible exposure to toxic materials, toner, etc. in an office setting; the ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather.

Essential Functions

Responsible for overall caregiver staff recruiting efforts that include, but are not limited to: making outbound calls, receiving/ assisting with inbound calls, utilizing sourcing databases and timely follow up with prospective attendants.

Ensure that applicants complete all pre-hire processes and paperwork accurately and efficiently, this includes but not limited to: timely communication with applicant, quick processing of completed paperwork with department, etc

Transition Newly hired Attendants and/or Special Attendants through onboarding systems to completion of hiring process to work with clients.

Proper and prompt communication with applicants/ new hires/ clients/ team members.

Locate and participate in job fairs and talent acquisition events.

Run, Evaluate and Process all attendant and special attendant background checks and LEIE database checks during pre-hire to determine eligibility to work in accordance to HHS guideline

Complete accurate and timely documentations in necessary agency EMR and needed databases

Assist with the staffing of current attendants when needed.

Works with great urgency and accuracy to complete tasks within strict turnaround time guidelines.

Performs all other duties as requested by supervisor.

Physical, Mental, Miscellaneous Demands

Prolonged sitting required, with the ability to operate office equipment which may include heavy lifting, bending, and standing.

Requires ability to use up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds continuously to move objects.

Requires ability to grasp, pull, push, carry or otherwise manipulate objects; ability to perform tasks requiring action of muscles or groups of muscles and foot and/or hand-eye coordination.

Work deals mostly with areas such as preparing and reading data and figures, records, reports, visual inspection involving small details. Although important, depth perception and field of vision (peripheral) are not as critical as the ability to distinguish small details and markings very near to the observer.

Position requires sitting approximately 60% of time standing/stooping/bending/ climbing approximately 20% of time; and walking approximately 20% of time.

Requires ability to concentrate on fine detail with frequent interruption; ability to focus attention on tasks for 10-20 minutes at a time on a continuous basis, 20-60 minutes on occasion.

Requires the ability to remain calm and courteous under stress.

Requires working under strict turnaround time guidelines to meet business needs.

Requires ability to communicate clearly and make self-understood effectively in face-to-face interactions; articulate with accuracy to communicate using phone.

Requires ability to hear and receive verbal instructions correctly, answer phones, communicate professionally in situations with some background noise.

Requires ability to understand and relate to specific ideas one at a time and to the concepts behind specific ideas; ability to remember verbal and written tasks/assignments from a few hours to several day periods.

Excellent computer software skills necessary to produce accurate documents and materials required.

Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel or similar software required. Proficient knowledge preferred.

Requires ability to work effectively under minimal supervision; exercise excellent, sound professional judgement and maintain confidentiality.

Must have and maintain valid Driver's License, and proof of current valid auto liability insurance.
