Job summary

Conexus Food Solutions is seeking a full-time Recruiter to own end-to-end hiring for warehouse, driver, and frontline roles in Chicago and Atlanta. You’ll partner with operations managers to understand staffing needs, source candidates through job boards and referrals, and drive offer processes.

The role requires 2+ years in recruiting, familiarity with ATS and driver-specific boards, and strong English skills. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 with typical Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in high-volume warehouse, logistics, or transportation hiring.
• Familiarity with CDL licensing requirements and DOT compliance files is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for warehouse, driver (CDL and non-CDL), and other frontline operations roles across Chicago and Atlanta.
• Partner with operations managers to understand staffing needs, shift requirements, and role qualifications.
• Source candidates through job boards, driver-specific platforms, social media, referrals, and local community outreach.
• Screen resumes and applications; conduct phone/video interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and manage candidate communication throughout the process.
• Maintain requisition tracking and candidate pipelines in the ATS.
• Extend offers and manage the offer-to-start process, including background checks and DOT documentation for driver roles.
• Track recruiting metrics and report progress to management.
• Represent the company at job fairs and hiring events in both markets.
• Ensure hiring practices comply with DOT, FMCSA, EEOC, and other applicable regulations.

What You'll Do

Own full-cycle recruiting for our warehouse, driver, and other operations positions supporting all our site locations. Source, screen, interview, and hire qualified candidates while partnering closely with operations managers to keep our facilities and fleet fully staffed.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for warehouse, driver (CDL and non-CDL), and other frontline operations roles across Chicago and Atlanta.
• Partner with warehouse and operations managers to understand staffing needs, shift requirements, and role qualifications.
• Source candidates through job boards, driver-specific platforms, social media, referrals, and local community outreach.
• Screen resumes and applications; conduct phone/video interviews to assess qualifications, licensing, and fit.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and manage candidate communication throughout the process.
• Maintain accurate requisition tracking and candidate pipelines in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Extend offers and manage the offer-to-start process, including background checks, drug screens, and DOT compliance documentation for driver roles.
• Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and offer-acceptance rate, and report progress to management.
• Represent the company at job fairs and hiring events in both markets.
• Ensure hiring practices comply with DOT, FMCSA, EEOC, and other applicable federal/state regulations.
• Any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working experience: 2+ years in recruiting, ideally in high-volume, warehouse, logistics, or transportation/driver hiring
• Familiarity with CDL licensing requirements and driver qualification/DOT compliance files (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Experience using an ATS and sourcing platforms (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, driver-specific job boards)
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions across two markets at once
• Positive working attitude, patient, detail-oriented, and flexible
• Must be able to read and write English
• Authorized to work in the US

Preferred Requirements:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Prior experience recruiting for logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or transportation companies
• Knowledge of local Chicago and Atlanta labor markets
