Meritum Energy is seeking a motivated Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role owns full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for requisitions across the company and multiple operating regions, including DOT-regulated driving positions.

The ideal candidate sources, screens, and hires qualified candidates while ensuring DOT/FMCSA compliance. You will proactively build candidate pipelines, develop strong relationships with hiring managers, and deliver a great candidate experience from

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or 2+ years recruiting experience.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS).
• High-volume recruiting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions across the company, including DOT-regulated driving positions.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines through job boards, CDL schools, job fairs, referrals, and industry outreach.
• Partner with Senior Recruiter to develop and execute recruiting plans.
• Source, screen, and conduct phone interviews with candidates, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
• Review DOT driver applications and coordinate pre-employment requirements.
• Create, post, and manage job advertisements internally and externally.
• Facilitate the offer and onboarding process, including background checks and DOT reviews.
• Keep ATS accurate and up to date.
• Meet with hiring managers to review requisition progress and adjust recruiting strategies.
• Communicate the hiring process, timelines, and compliance requirements to candidates.
• Support employer branding efforts.

Job Summary

Meritum Energy is seeking a motivated Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. Partnering closely with the Senior Recruiter, this role owns full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for requisitions across the company and multiple operating regions, including DOT-regulated driving positions.

This role sources, screens, and hires qualified candidates while ensuring strict adherence to DOT, FMCSA, and company compliance standards. The ideal candidate brings high-volume hiring experience, proactively builds candidate pipelines, develops strong relationships with hiring managers, and delivers a great candidate experience from first contact through the first day.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions across the company, including DOT-regulated driving positions
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines through job boards, CDL schools, job fairs, referrals, and industry outreach
• Partner with the Senior Recruiter to develop and execute recruiting plans based on current and upcoming hiring needs
• Source, screen, and conduct phone interviews with candidates, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
• Review DOT driver applications and coordinate pre-employment requirements
• Create, post, and manage job advertisements internally and across external job boards and industry-specific platforms
• Facilitate the offer and onboarding process, including offer letters, background checks, and the DOT review process when applicable
• Keep the applicant tracking system (ATS) accurate and up to date
• Meet regularly with hiring managers to review requisition progress and adjust recruiting strategies as needed
• Communicate the hiring process, timelines, and compliance requirements to candidates
• Support employer branding efforts
• All other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, or a minimum of two (2) years of recruiting experience
• Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS)
• High-volume recruiting experience preferred
