Job summary

McKinsey & Company, Inc. is seeking a proactive Recruiter to partner with our QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, and Experienced Professional hiring teams in the US.

You will manage a strong pipeline of technologists for US/Canada locations, guiding candidates from intake through to offer with a focus on diversity and candidate experience. You will lead end-to-end recruitment, collaborate with hiring managers, and contribute to strategic projects while embracing a fast-paced, growth-oriented

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2+ years end-to-end technical recruiting experience, partnering with hiring managers and stakeholders.
• Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and colleagues at all levels.
• Exceptional time management to handle a complex, largely autonomous role.
• Ability to work in-person and travel as needed.
• Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake conversations with hiring managers and drive candidate generation via reviews, referrals, and sourcing.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment: assessment through to offer, ensuring a diversity-forward hiring journey.
• Coordinate stages of the recruiting process (interviews, events, cultivation) and contribute to strategy execution.
• Partner with recruiting teams on projects like system design, reporting, and process improvements.
• Support onboarding and integration of hires into the firm while maintaining candidate experiences.

You will work with recruiters and managers within the QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, and Experienced Professional hiring team to ensure a strong pipeline of highly skilled, qualified and motivated technologists are available to join the firm. You will develop and deliver high quality, full cycle, recruitment practices which embody our values and create exceptional hiring journeys for candidates and hiring teams. You will help candidates understand the unique value proposition of joining McKinsey and provide end-to-end management of candidates in your pipeline; this includes intake conversations with hiring managers, candidate generation via application review, direct sourcing and referrals, assessment through to offer creation and cultivation. Your ability to attract and develop pipeline of candidates through compelling messaging with keen understanding of the competitive technical landscape will be vital. You will manage cultivation and integration of hires into the firm and participate in recruiting-related projects when needed (e.g. recruiting system design, reporting, assessment). You will work closely with the recruiting team to plan, coordinate and execute all stages of the recruitment process (from interview days, to events, to cultivation) to contribute to the development of our recruiting strategy. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• 2+ years end to end technical recruiting experience, partnering closely with hiring managers and senior business stakeholders; experience operating effectively within large, complex organizations preferred
• Ability to build great relationships with candidates, consultants and recruiting colleagues at all levels within the organization
• Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
• Ability to work in-person and travel as needed
• Ability to operate office equipment and handle transportation of materials or objects, when required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels

This reflects our best estimate of the lowest to highest salary for this role at the time of this posting, ensuring you have a clear picture right from the start, though it's important to remember that actual salaries may vary. Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
