Piedmont Airlines is hiring a Recruiter in our Talent Acquisition Department to help us recruit candidates who fit our culture and goals. This role involves coordinating with station management, hosting events, conducting interviews, and guiding new hires through orientation and onboarding.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, is proficient in Microsoft Office, and is willing to travel extensively. A flexible schedule and a proactive attitude are essential for success.

Responsibilities

  • Understand corporate culture, policies, and goals to select candidates that meet or exceed the company’s minimum requirements for employment.
  • Work closely with station management in various locations to arrange and host recruiting events designed to meet staffing goals.
  • Post job opportunities on various websites or newspapers, monitor responses, and contact candidates.
  • Conduct interview and orientation sessions; arrange for new hires to attend mandatory training class.
  • Ensure employment processes are completed for each new hire.
  • Maintain and update files, tracking forms and order pre-employment workbooks as necessary.

To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Recruiter in our Talent Acquisition Department. The primary responsibility of the position is to understand the corporate culture, policies, and goals to select candidates that meet or exceed the company’s minimum requirements for employment. This will be achieved by working closely with station management to arrange and host recruiting events, where the recruiter will conduct interviews and orientation sessions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and Microsoft Office Skills, as well as a flexible schedule to allow for extensive travel. This position reports to either a Senior Recruiter or the Manager, Talent Acquisition.

Essential Duties

Work Environment
  • Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
  • Extensive travel to include multiple overnights
Physical Requirements
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

Starting Rate

$48,000.00/Annual Salary - 52,000.00/Annual Salary (Based on locale and experience)
