Qualifications

• Must have bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from an accredited college/university.
• Must maintain CPR and CPI certifications.
• Internship or work experience in a similar setting preferred.
• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills and be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care through recreational therapy and leisure services across day, evening, indoor, outdoor, and holiday events.
• Documented treatment planning and regular progress notes.
• Participates in inter-disciplinary treatment team and care planning conferences.
• Maintains therapy department supplies and equipment in good working order.
• May supervise Therapeutic Recreational intern students when needed.
