Job summary

THE SKATESIDE is seeking Recreational Skate Coaches to lead beginner skate sessions for youth (ages 4-14) across Los Angeles. The ideal candidates should embody a positive attitude and a genuine interest in working with kids. Responsibilities include leading sessions, creating an inclusive environment, and following the curriculum. No skate experience is required, but a high school diploma and reliable transportation are necessary. Join us to make a real impact in kids' lives within a fun, active community.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, structured skateboarding or roller skating sessions.
• Create a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment.
• Help beginners build confidence step by step.
• Follow THE SKATESIDE curriculum and class structure.
• Assist students with helmets and pads.
• Encourage participation and keep energy high.
• Help with setup, organization, and clean‑up.

You do NOT need to be an expert skater. What matters most is your attitude, energy, and ability to connect with kids.
