Job summary

Park Nursing Home is seeking a Recreational Aide to assist with planning recreational activities under the supervision of a Recreational Director. The aide will prepare resources, guide participants, maintain equipment, facilitate programs, and reiterate safety guidelines for activities.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities, coordinating supplies, documenting attendance, and coordinating with the Recreation Director to modify the recreation calendar.

Qualifications

• Experience with activities in healthcare settings or college work in recreation therapy preferable.
• Previous experience with geriatric population preferred.
