POSITION SUMMARY:

The Recreational Art/ Music Therapist is an internal member of the interdisciplinary team who leads and participates in the assessment, treatment plan developmental and implementation of therapeutic group interventions. The Therapist will work with assigned patients in group setting as per the patient's MTP and ensure therapeutic interventions provided aid to their Mental health and substance abuse recovery.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and possess CTSR (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) or an Art or Music Therapy Certification.

SKILLS:

Must have strong group facilitation skills and have knowledge of therapeutic planning and techniques.
