Shift: Part-time day shift, Monday–Friday.

Roles And Responsibilities

Provides therapeutic, recreational and leisure services to patients/clients, including development of individual treatment plans. Provides consultation to physicians and others regarding appropriate referral to recreational therapy. Documents patient/client programs and progress, educates patients/clients and others regarding recreational therapy programs. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient/client care, education and department operations. Acts as a resource or mentor and provides functional guidance to the team. Coordinates staff/patient scheduling, orientation and training. Ensures proper clinical documentation and monitors workload to ensure staff utilization.
