Role Description The Recreation Therapist will design and implement therapeutic recreation programs that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being for individuals receiving waiver services. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing participant needs, developing individualized recreation treatment plans, facilitating group and one-on-one sessions, and adapting activities to ensure accessibility and engagement. The role also involves collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, maintaining accurate progress notes, and communicating with caregivers and support staff to coordinate services. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Bloomington, IN, working primarily in community and home-based settings.
