Job summary

The City of Roseville seeks a Recreation Program Supervisor to lead community events, arts and cultural activities, adult enrichment programs, trips, and youth outreach within the Parks and Recreation Department.

You will plan, develop, implement, promote, evaluate, and continuously improve programs while coordinating staffing, budgets, contracts, venues, and safety measures to meet community needs and departmental priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Parks and Recreation Administration or related field.
• Minimum of one year experience in recreation program and event development.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement, supervise, and evaluate community events and programs.
• Develop objectives, staffing, budgets, procedures, risk management, and logistics.
• Monitor quality, participation, accessibility, and revenues/expenditures.
• Recruit, train, supervise seasonal staff, and coordinate contractors.
• Develop marketing strategies and oversee assigned program budgets.
