Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as Recreation Officer I or equivalent.
• 6+ years in group recreation or physical education with responsibility for organizing/overseeing activities.
• Earned college credit hours may substitute for up to three years of experience (30 credit hours per year).

Responsibilities

• Directs a recreation program of limited scope or assists in organizing/conducting/overseeing activities.
• Schedules facilities for movies, events, and activities; manages equipment and records.
• Maintains facilities and assists in requisitioning recreation equipment.
• May supervise staff and advise on disciplinary issues and participant behavior.
• Receives general administrative direction and performs related work as assigned.
