State of Missouri's St. Louis Forensic Treatment – North is seeking a full-time Recreation/Music Therapist at 5351 Delmar Blvd, St. Louis, MO.

This role supports an interdisciplinary treatment team and promotes healing, resilience, and recovery through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities include assessing skill functioning, planning diverse treatment groups, case management and documentation, attending team meetings, and ensuring program principles are followed.

Qualifications

• College degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy, or related field.
• CTRS or Music Therapist Board Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assessment of basic skill functioning related to services provided through the Rehabilitation Services Department.
• Planning and implementing a wide range of treatment groups designed to meet the social, vocational, emotional, cognitive and physical needs of clients.
• Case management including developing and maintaining individual treatment plans and related documentation, individual therapy, goal setting, family contact, client advocacy, and out-trip organization.
• Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, program meetings, and department meetings.
• Competency in the implementation of assigned psychosocial program principles and procedures, as well as program and departmental documentation expectations.

St. Louis Forensic Treatment – North, 5351 Delmar Blvd. St. Louis, MO. 63112 Day Shift (Sat/Sun Off Days) Semi-Monthly Salary: $1,848.91

We are seeking a positive, energetic, and caring individual for our open full time Recreation/Music Therapist. The Recreation/Music Therapist plays a vital role as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate compassion and an ability to work in a trauma informed and recovery-based environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Assessment of basic skill functioning related to services provided through the Rehabilitation Services Department.

• Case management including developing and maintaining individual treatment plans and related documentation, individual therapy, goal setting, family contact, client advocacy, and out-trip organization.

• Competency in the implementation of assigned psychosocial program principles and procedures, as well as program and departmental documentation expectations.

Minimum Qualifications
