Job summary

Tahoe City Public Utility District is seeking qualified individuals to work in our Recreation Division this Fall/Winter/Spring. The role offers pay between $17.35 and $22 per hour, DOE, with a seasonal employment period.

Duties include planning and leading sports and after-school programs, ensuring safety, and delivering excellent customer service to participants and families. The ideal candidate will enforce safety standards, be responsible and organized, and bring high energy to engage youth

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm and energy to lead activities for youth ages 5–14.
• Commitment to safety standards and responsible conduct.
• Able to stay organized in a dynamic recreation setting.
• Strong customer service orientation for participants and parents.

Responsibilities

• Daily program planning, preparation, and implementation for sports and after-school programs.
• Provide safe, fun, and engaging environment for participants.
• Lead program participants (ages 5–14) and provide staff guidance.
• Deliver excellent customer service to participants, parents, and visitors.
• Assist Recreation Specialists as needed.

• Daily program planning, preparation, and implementation for TCPUD's various sports programming and after school programs.
• Provide safe, fun, and engaging environment for all participants.
• Provide leadership to program participants (age ranges 5- 14 years old).
• Provide excellent customer service to all participants, parents, and visitors.
• Assists Recreation Specialists
