Job summary

Commercial Recreation Specialists is seeking a Recreation Equipment Installer to perform high-quality installation of Splashpads, playgrounds, and mini golf courses, following detailed plans and safety standards. The role requires effective teamwork with the Field Superintendent and Crew Lead on diverse project sites.

Responsibilities include site preparation, installation, safety inspections, and on-site client guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
• AA/AS/BA/BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar field (preferred).
• Ability to review, understand, and interpret construction plans and drawings.
• Basic understanding of standard construction and trade practices (low-voltage electrical, plumbing, concrete work, and excavation).
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Site Preparation: Assess and prepare the installation site per project specifications.
• Installation: Assemble and install recreation equipment per plans; use hand and power tools safely.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect installed equipment for safety and quality; report issues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installation activities and submit documentation.
• Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients on-site and provide guidance on use/maintenance.
• Training and Development: Participate in training; share best practices with team; stay updated on new techniques.
• Travel Requirements: Frequent travel to project sites; candidates must live within commuting distance of Verona, WI or St. Paul, MN.
