Job summary

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 60 college credits in related fields, at least one year of supervision experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to communicate clearly with participants

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Sixty college credits in Recreational Management or related field required.
• One year of experience in supervision of recreation or leisure activities preferred.
• Education may be substituted by related recreation experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the overall recreational program for the facility and staff.
• Coordinate and supervise daily recreational and leisure activities per schedule.
• Maintain and conduct inventories of supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Order replacement items and arrange proper equipment in designated areas.
• Maintain safety and sanitation of recreational areas.
• Prepare and disseminate reports (safety, accident, statistics) as required.
