Job summary

The Village of Glendale Heights is seeking a Seasonal Recreation Attendant to assist in operating the gymnasium, courts, concession stands, and multi-purpose fields at the Sports Hub in Glendale Heights, IL. Responsibilities include scorekeeping, potential program leadership, and facility setup for events and rentals.

Applicants must pass pre-employment drug testing and a background check, and reside within 15 miles of the Village.

• Monitor fitness room and gym usage by patrons.

The Seasonal Recreation Attendant is responsible for assisting in the operation and programming of the gymnasium, racquetball courts, tennis courts, concession stands and multi-purpose field located at the assigned recreational facility. Seasonal Recreation Attendants regularly serve as scorekeeper for a variety of recreation sports and can serve as program leaders as well.

Assists with proactive cleaning of the office and other areas of the facilities; assisting in the set-up and take down of rental rooms, including the moving of tables and chairs; assisting in monitoring fitness room and gym usage by patrons.

QualificationsAll job offers are conditional upon the satisfactory outcome of pre-employment drug testing and a complete background investigation. Employees are required to have their permanent residency within a 15-mile radius of the Village.
