Responsibilities include scheduling activities, maintaining equipment, and ensuring guest safety. Ideal candidates will have CPR and First Aid certifications, along with a high school diploma. Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities. Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests. Provide information about available recreation facilities and activities. Promote rules and regulations of the recreation facility for guest safety and welfare. Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedures in case of an emergency. Be aware of situations where guests may not participate safely and inform supervisors/managers. Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow company policies and procedures; ensure a professional appearance; maintain confidentiality; protect assets. Welcome guests, address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally; answer phones with proper etiquette. Develop positive relationships with team members; support team goals. Process payments for rentals, activities, and retail sales. Meet quality standards. Verify information visually and inspect tools/equipment for defects. Use computers and POS systems to enter and retrieve information. Stand, sit, or walk for long periods. Lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance. Use fine motor skills for manipulation tasks. Navigate narrow, uneven, or slippery surfaces, stairs, and ramps. Reach overhead and below knees, including bending and twisting. Perform other duties as assigned.
