Apple Rehab Colchester is seeking a Recreation Assistant to assist with designing and delivering therapeutic recreational activities for residents. You will work under supervision to ensure programs meet individual needs and plan events that align with holidays and celebrations.

The role emphasizes resident well-being, compassionate care, and adherence to the Residents’ Bill of Rights. A valid driver's license and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to provide rotating weekend coverage of recreation activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and execution of therapeutic recreational services for all residents.
• Support the Recreation Director in planning activities that meet residents’ physical and emotional needs.
• Encourage participation, respect Residents’ Bill of Rights, and document observations for care planning.
