Job summary

Brakeley Park in Phillipsburg, NJ is seeking a part-time Recreation Assistant to design and lead engaging activities for residents, including games, arts and crafts, music, and outings.

You will help create a monthly activity calendar, encourage participation, and tailor activities to individual needs while working with a supportive care team. This role offers ongoing training, weekend/holiday shifts, and a friendly environment committed to enriching the well-being and happiness of our residents.

Qualifications

• A positive and energetic attitude with a passion for working with seniors.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required – we provide comprehensive training!
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays.
