Job summary

The Army Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) unit at Fort Benning seeks a full-time Facilities/ Recreation Assistant to manage access control, equipment issuance, and routine maintenance support for recreation facilities.

Responsibilities include opening/closing facilities, handling fees for issued items, inspecting equipment, and coordinating stock and purchases while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Duties

Conditions of Employment
  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

  • Position, duty hours, location and/or activity are subject to change based on mission requirements.
  • Work hours may involve weekends, weekdays, holidays and night duty.

  • This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
