Job summary

Touchpoints at Chestnut is seeking a per diem Recreation Assistant to support daily resident activities. Responsibilities include assisting the Recreation Director with department operations and helping plan and run social and therapeutic events.

The role involves participating in applicable training sessions related to resident activities, with preference given to those holding TRD certification or actively enrolled in a program.

Qualifications

• TRD certification or active enrollment in a TRD program is preferred but not required.
• Experience assisting with recreation/therapeutic activities.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training related to resident activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Recreation Director with daily department activities.
• Plan and implement daily social and therapeutic activities and events.
• Participate in training and development sessions related to resident activities.
