Job summary

Talentify in Scarborough, ME seeks an Activity Assistant to enrich patients' lives through engaging activities, planning, organizing and implementing programs meeting physical, cognitive, social, and emotional needs. You will attend care plan meetings and document participation while collaborating with staff.

The role offers a Sunday-Thursday schedule from 8:30am to 5pm with pay between $19.00 and $21.00 per hour, reflecting a supportive team environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Experience planning or participating in activity programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engagement activities meeting physical, creative, cognitive, social and spiritual needs.
• Provide input into the design of monthly recreation therapy services.
• Document patient/resident attendance and participation levels in programs.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.

Posted Salary Range

USD $19.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.
