Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. in Pembroke, NC, is seeking a Recreation Assistant to enrich patient lives through organized activities. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with every other weekend required, and pays $16.00 per hour.

Join a team focused on quality care and meaningful engagement for residents. Responsibilities include planning and implementing recreation programs, documenting attendance, and participating in care plan meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors and respond to their medical and physical needs.

Responsibilities

• Able to positively engage with personnel, resident/patients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.
