Job summary

Genesis Healthcare is seeking an Activity Assistant to enrich the lives of patients and residents through engaging, structured activities aligned with their physical, creative, cognitive, and social needs.

You will help design monthly recreation services, document participation, and join care plan discussions to support holistic well‑being in a compassionate, team‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure the safety and well‑being of our patients and visitors and respond to their medical and physical needs.

Responsibilities

• Enrich the lives of our patients/residents as an Activity Assistant where you will plan, organize and implement engagement activities that meet the physical, creative, cognitive, social, spiritual, and needs of our patients and residents.
