Job summary

CareOne at Lowell is hiring a Full-Time Recreation Assistant in Lowell, MA. The position offers an hourly wage of $16–$19 with compensation based on experience, credentials, status, and schedule.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating activity programs, and contributing to resident assessments and care plans. Evening/weekend flexibility and prior long-term care recreation experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.
• Experience in Recreation/Activities in long term care preferred.
• Experience with dementia activities preferred.

Job Duties

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and assist with the activity programs of this facility
• Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings/weekends
• Previous experience in a Recreation/Activities position in long term care preferred
• Previous experience with dementia activities preferred
