Job summary

Genesis is seeking an Activity Assistant in Carlisle, PA to enrich the lives of patients and residents. You will plan and implement engaging activities addressing physical, cognitive, social and spiritual needs while collaborating with care teams. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Responsibilities include documenting attendance, supporting monthly recreation therapy design, and joining care plan meetings as needed. High school diploma required; English proficiency is essential.

Who You Are

• Effective communicator with excellent verbal/ written skills.
• Well-developed organizational abilities and record keeping skills.
• Able to positively engage with personnel, resident/patients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public.

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors and respond to their medical and physical needs.
