Job summary

CareOne Brookline is seeking a Part-Time Recreation Assistant to support activity programs for residents in our Long Term Care and Short Term Rehab settings in Brookline, MA. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, with per diem options.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour and will reflect experience and schedule. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging activity programs, participating in discharge planning, and helping assess resident needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Flexible schedule with evenings and weekends.
• Previous recreation/activities experience in long-term care preferred.
• Previous experience with dementia activities preferred.

Job Duties

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and assist with the activity programs of this facility
• Participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of activity care plans and resident assessments

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings/weekends
• Previous experience in a Recreation/Activities position in long term care preferred
• Previous experience with dementia activities preferred
