Job summary

Job description

Therapeutic Recreation Aide

The Therapeutic Recreation Aide implements diversional therapeutic recreation programs for individual and group service for patients and their families. The aide prepares patients and the environment for treatment and assists the therapist in performing treatment under his/her direction. This position generally requires providing service to AD, A, O, F age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
