Job summary

Cayuga Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Ithaca, NY seeks a motivated Recreation Aide to support residents from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Experience with seniors or healthcare is a plus; candidates should be organized, able to lead others, and maintain a positive, upbeat attitude.

Evening hours and weekend availability are preferred to enhance engagement. You will plan and run recreational activities, work with volunteers, document participation daily, and help residents participate 1:1 when needed.

Cayuga Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking a motivated and experienced Recreation Aide to work (830a-430p) at our skilled nursing facility in Ithaca, NY. The ideal candidate should have experience in long term care, be well organized with excellent communication skills, and have familiarity and true enjoyment from working with the needs of the elderly. Evening hours preferred with weekend availability needed.
