Army NAF seeks a staff member to ensure safe use of fitness equipment and assist guests with program bookings at Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield. The role includes handling member inquiries, inventory, and facility cleanliness.

• Operates commercial laundry machines to wash and dry bulk laundry items. Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, sports courts, and other common areas. Maintains stock room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties.


• Performs other duties as assigned.

• A one-year probationary period may be required.


• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.


• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.


• Satisfactory completion of physical examination.


• Must have or be able to obtain American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire.

• This job is open to candidates who are located in the local commuting area. (Within a 50-mile radius of Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield, GA.) The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is the local commuting area. PCS Costs

• Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

Allowances and Differentials

• This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.


• Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
