Responsibilities

1. Serve as a lifeguard for indoor and outdoor pools, following safety rules to protect guests.
2. Provide surveillance and respond to emergencies, including rescues and first aid.
3. Maintain pool and surrounding area cleanliness, perform water tests, and report findings.
4. Inform swimmers of safety and health rules, and enforce facility procedures.
5. Assist in coaching or preparing swimming programs, and maintain logs and records.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED from recognized agencies (e.g., American Red Cross).

• Must meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 40 lbs and passing a health assessment.
• Availability to work varied hours, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
