Job summary

Hope on Haven Hill is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) to join our residential treatment team in New Hampshire. You will provide direct support and supervision to women residents, helping create a safe, trauma-informed environment and assisting with daily routines, transportation, childcare, and recovery-focused activities.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are 18+, and possess strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CRSW certification preferred; willing to obtain NH CRSW within 12 months of hire.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the facility to ensure safety and compliance with program policies.
• Respond calmly and professionally to crises using trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques.
• Complete accurate documentation and communicate client updates to the treatment team.
• Participate in shift reports, staff meetings, and ongoing training opportunities.

Hope on Haven Hill is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Recovery Support Specialists (RSS) to join our residential treatment team. This role is essential to creating a safe, welcoming, and recovery-focused environment for women receiving substance use treatment, with a special emphasis on supporting pregnant and parenting women and their children.

As a Recovery Support Specialist, you'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide encouragement, supervision, and practical support that empowers clients on their recovery journey while helping maintain a safe and positive residential community.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Certified Recovery Support Worker (CRSW) certification preferred.
• Candidates without certification must be willing to obtain New Hampshire CRSW certification within 12 months of hire.
