Qualifications

• Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
• Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload for residential and outpatient patients.
• Develop individualized recovery support plans with patients.
• Provide 20–25 hours per week of direct peer support services.
• Document recovery plans and progress in the electronic health record.
• Connect patients with community resources and transportation as needed.
• Identify relapse prevention strategies and build supportive networks.
• Attend interdisciplinary case staffing meetings for care coordination.
• Contribute to peer recovery team meetings to evaluate progress.
• May mentor Peer Recovery Specialist I in engagement techniques.
