Job summary

Recovery Centers of America is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) to join the patient care team. You will provide direct support to individuals in treatment for substance use disorders, ensuring a safe and structured environment for recovery.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient activities, facilitating group sessions, assisting with admissions and discharges, and maintaining precise documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in addiction services or behavioral health is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with behavior modification techniques and 12-step recovery principles.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions.

What You’ll Do

A former patient may not be hired at the same location where they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since the completion of their treatment at that location.
