Job summary

American Addiction Centers is seeking a Treatment Advocate to support patients in recovery, collaborate with the treatment team, and assist with service coordination. The TA will operate the company vehicle to transport clients and facility visitors, providing compassionate, professional care.

You will welcome new patients, assist with scheduling, and support daily activities while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high standards of safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with insurable driving record.
• Experience with electronic health records and documentation preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new patients and assist with orientation to programming schedule.
• Conduct patient belongings searches on admission.
• Complete safety rounds and security checks.
• Coordinate patient daily schedule including treatment meetings and interventions.
• Provide support and encouragement to patients and participation in counseling services.
• Ensure documentation meets contract, licensure, accreditation and policy guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
