Job summary

Catholic Charities Maine in Auburn is seeking Recovery Specialists for part-time and per-diem roles to provide direct client care in early recovery from substance use disorders. You will work evenings, overnights, and weekends, helping residents follow program rules in a supportive, structured environment.

No medical background required—training is available. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with substance use disorders a plus; training available.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client, non-medical care to residential clients in early recovery.
• Enforce program rules and agency policies; support a safe, structured environment.
• Serve as a positive recovery role model and assist with weekend/evening shift coverage.

Catholic Charities Maine St. Francis Recovery Center in Auburn has Part Time & Per-Diem opportunities for Recovery Specialists to provide responsible direct client, non-medical care.Recovery Specialists are paraprofessional staff members who work closely with residential clients in early recovery from substance use disorders. Recovery Specialists serve as a positive recovery support, while enforcing program rules and agency policies.
