Job summary

Jefferson Einstein Hospital, part of Albert Einstein Medical Center, seeks a Registered Nurse for the PACU. The unit is located in Philadelphia, PA, and requires on-call responsibility with varied hours.

The schedule includes rotating day and night shifts, a minimum 24 hours per 6 week period, at least 24 hours on weekends, and two holiday commitments per year. A BSN is preferred; a state RN license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• BSN degree preferred.
• State RN license is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
• Practices safe medication administration and assesses patient responses to medication.
• Participates in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.

Education

BSN Degree preferred

State Issued RN license

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification
