Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking an experienced OR Nurse for the Recovery Room on first (days) shift. The RN will assess patients, admit, monitor, and participate in patient education and family communication.

Requirements include Virginia or compact RN license and BLS. Base pay ranges from $41.93 to $61.01 per hour with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Start rates for new grads are also noted at $36.00/hour.

• Current RN license in Virginia or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Assessing/admitting patients in Recovery Room.
• Perform rounding checks and monitor patient status.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Communicate with patient families and document care.
• Ensure overall care and patient safety in the unit.
