Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications per American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and plans total nursing care for post-operative patients.
• Records symptoms, reactions and changes in conditions.
• Administers medications and treatments ordered by physicians.
• Care and discharge post-operative patients according to policies.
• Accurately assess needs for pain and/or nausea medication.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidential information.
• Provides support to patients and families and coordinates with care teams.
