Job summary

Twin Lakes Recovery Center, part of Summit BHC, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care on-site in Monroe, Georgia. You will supervise LPNs/CNAs, develop and evaluate care plans, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team about patient status.

Responsibilities include medication administration, accurate documentation, and education for clients and families, with emphasis on safety and coordinated care in a behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years’ nursing experience in clinical or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and administration procedures.
• Ability to apply nursing standards in acute psychiatric settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan individualized nursing care and education for clients.
• Administer medications accurately with dual identifiers.
• Document care, orders, and hand-off reports thoroughly.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and attend unit activities.
• Monitor client acuity and escalate coverage as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory policies.
