Job summary

Recovery Corps seeks Recovery Navigators to mentor individuals in recovery, helping them set goals and navigate resources within AmeriCorps. Training will be provided to deliver peer support and guide participants toward sustained recovery.

You will meet with participants, build relationships, and track progress while participating in ongoing training and community outreach. The program year runs Sept 2026–July 2027 with full-time daytime hours.

Qualifications

• In recovery for at least one uninterrupted year from a substance use disorder.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule.
• Have basic computer skills (like email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Position Summary

Join Recovery Corps as a Recovery Navigator and you’ll spend your days at an organization committed to serving recovery communities. We’ll train you to provide peer support to individuals as they work to maintain their progress in recovery.

How does it work? You’ll meet with participants and provide guidance as they navigate resources, set goals, and develop recovery action plans. Through individualized support, you’ll be part of creating more success stories!

Essential Qualifications

Perks Package

Schedule

We are currently hiring for the 2026-27 program year. Positions run September 2026-July 2027.

• 40 hours per week
• Daytime hours
• Monday-Friday
• Time off on holidays

Part-time positions are also available at 25 hours per week!

Pay & Benefits

Full-time AmeriCorps members receive a paycheck (stipend) every two weeks. Compensation: $16.24 per hour served and additional perks! Learn more.
